New Features in Tradingeye

We are pleased to announce some great new features and enhancements to Tradingeye.

New Features

- SAGEPay VSP Form payment gateway

We have added a new off site payment gateway in the form of SAGEPay VSP Form (http://sagepay.com/)

- Margin Calculator

You can now increase or decrease the prices for all your products in one go. Let’s say next year you want to increase all your prices by 10%, simply enter 10% and select the increase option, save your settings and you’re all done!

- Captcha for the contact and signups forms

A Captcha has been added to the contact and signup forms to help prevent spammers from signing up. A Captcha is a program that can generate and grade tests that humans can pass but current computer programs cannot.

Enhancements

- Mark standard options as mandatory

You can now specify if a standard option should be mandatory to select or not when buying a product.

- Pagination on search pages

We have now added pagination to the search results page. This is especially useful for shops with large product catalogues.

New Features in CannyBill

We are pleased to announce some great new features for CannyBill. Custom form fields for options, the ability to send out invoices x-days before the due date and two brand new payment gateways!

Custom Form Fields

Within CannyBill you could already create custom options for your packages which consisted of a radio button or check box. Well now we’ve added the possibility for you to add custom input boxes too. These can be used for any additional information you wish to capture e.g. ‘Where did you hear about us?’ to custom data collection of your choice.

Admin -> Packages -> Create new option

Send invoice out x-days before the due date

We’ve added a great little feature which enables you to specify how many days before the invoice due date do you want to send the invoice out. This is especially useful for renewable invoices giving your customers advance notice when a payment will be due.

SecurePay Payment Gateways

We’ve added two new payment gateways to CannyBill. Please note that although they are both called SecurePay, they are two totally different companies and have nothing in common.

New Feature: Estimates

We are pleased to announce a new estimates feature for www.cannybill.com.

From your admin -> settings -> invoice settings -> you can enable the estimates feature.

Now the estimates feature has been activated you can now go ahead and create your 1st estimate. Simple go to the admin -> invoices tab -> and click on create new invoice.

Now instead of selecting the invoice option, select estimate from the drop down menu and enter all the required information such as the description and price.

That’s it, you’re all done, your 1st estimate has been created and you can now sent it to your customer with an optional PDF version attached.

Under the admin -> invoices tab -> you can switch between looking at all your invoices or estimates you have created.

New Feature: Customer Notes

We are please to announce a new ‘Customer Notes’ feature for www.cannybill.com.

Customer notes enable you to add notes against a customer when for example they call you up or you want to save some information relating to their account.

Admin -> Settings -> Invoice Settings

From here you can turn the customer notes feature on or off.

From the main customer details page you can see how many notes have been created and also create a new note.

New features in CannyBill

Invoice prefix and start number

You can now specify a prefix for an invoice such as letters and also what the number your sequence of invoices should start on.

Specify the return URL for an order form

Admin -> Settings -> Invoice Settings

Previously when a customer bought a package from a web based order form, the Return to website link which they got on the receipt page would just bring you back to the start of the order form. Well now you can specify where that return link should go to.

Sale & Pre-Auth – PSIGate

Admin -> Settings -> Payment Gateways -> PSIGate

PSIGate

We have added two new settings for PSIGate.

Sale
Chargetype = 0 (Sale) charges the credit card immediately. This is used when you authorize and confirm the shipment of products electronically. Otherwise, credit card Companies require that you pre-authorize (reserve the funds) on the credit card until the product(s) has been shipped.

Preauthorization
Chargetype = 1 (Preauth – Default) reserves the funds on a credit card. This flag should be used when selling goods that must be physically shipped (hardgoods). Credit card networks reserve the funds for varying amounts of time, ranging from three days to several months.
