Creme Eggs

Looking after our customers has always been a top priority for us and to say a big thank you for all our hard work, Steve, of Singleframe Media, sent us a treat to help us pile on the pounds.

He sent a whole box of Cadbury Cream Eggs to head office, which were all troughed within seconds by the hungry hordes at Dpi towers.

We were all over the moon when the box, complete with the note:

“Just a little thank you to all the guys for the hard work and the support over the past year! Kind Regards Steve Fairhurst Singleframe Media”,

Thanks Steve – not only did you help us fill our faces, the lads were so stuffed they couldn’t leave their desks to take their lunch break ;-)

Newcastle UK Twestival 2009

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009

Dpivision.com Ltd has given a helping hand to raise cash for a life-saving cause.

Twestival

This week, more than 100 cities across the globe played host to Twestivals, which bring together Twitter communities for a fun-filled evening that raises funds for charity.

As we were keen to help others and get involved, we decided to sponsor the event and give the Tyne Twestival a free Tradingeye licence to be given away as a prize.

The event took place on Tuesday in Newcastle and helped to raise stacks of cash for charity: water – a non profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations by funding sustainable clean water solutions in areas of greatest need.

Help the kids of kenya

Save the Children

Caked in dirt and wearing nothing but tattered rags, hundreds of kids scrabble through the stench of over-flowing rubbish dumps in search of food.

These are the forgotten children of Kenya.

Abandoned by their country and their Government, these youngsters are forced to fend for themselves.

They have nowhere else to go and no-one to turn to after having their lives torn apart by the massacre that has swept across their troubled homeland.

Their parents have been brutally murdered and their homes looted, forcing them onto the streets of Eldoret, Kenya where they face a daily struggle for survival.

With no money, no food and no hope, these kids are forced into a life of crime, scavenging and have nothing but their bottles of glue to keep them going.

Those of you who saw this week’s special of the BAFTA-winning series, Ross Kemp on Gangs will have been touched by the plight of the ever-growing number of street kids, with some only months old cradling bottles of glue in their arms.

After watching it, Dpivision.com felt compelled to do something so we gave a donation, and today we are urging you to do the same.

Save the Children is working with ExStreet, a lifeline that has been thrown to the youngsters by former street kids who have escaped the horror of life on the landfill sites.

The organisation provides counselling, training and helping kids to get back into school.
