4IP

Our unique way of thinking has secured us a place on the Crossover 4iP Lab.

Channel 4 is challenging the region’s top digital entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas at a three day conference in Newcastle this week.

They are on the hunt for inspirational and fresh ways of engaging with the public through various media platforms.

And the best ideas will receive a cash injection from Channel 4 to help launch them.

Crossover is an international programme designed to explore the creative and the commercial challenges of developing content and services for digital media.

During the three days, the series of creative laboratories will see experienced and talented professionals from different sectors of the audio-visual industries work alongside international experts and mentors to develop ideas for innovative cross-platform programmes, products or services.

Wladimir Baranoff-Rossine, project manager at Dpivision said:

“We are delighted to have been selected to take part in this event and look forward to contributing with some of the North East’s most talented companies.”

“This year has already proven to be a very exciting for us with our company having been chosen to take part in the UK Digital Mission trip to Texas and been selected for the finals of the European Startup Awards. We can’t wait to get stuck in!””

North East Digital Awards

Once again we are entering the North East Digital Awards and we need your help to secure us a place on the short-list for the digital innovators section.

After scooping the top spot in the best example of accessibility category last year, Tradingeye software is in line for the award once again.

It has been singled out by judges for driving online accessibility to new levels and boosting interactivity between users and websites.

Our latest application, cannybill.com, is hoping to top the bill in two categories: best use of advanced practices in web development and best use if API.

In the best use of advanced practices in web development, judges are looking for an application that pushes the boundaries of possibilities to make websites even more valuable to businesses, and we believe cannybill.com does just that.

In the second category we believe CannyBill fits the bill perfectly when judges say they want to see a product that combines an existing piece of code or programming with new functionality to create a unique solution.

The North East Digital Awards was launched in 2007 to celebrate the growing digital industry in the region by show-casing the best digital talent.

To be in with a chance of winning an award, we need you to show your support and cast your vote for us by logging onto:

It’s official – our creative talents are beautiful and inspiring.

Our carefully crafted website has caught the eyes of top designers once again.

Our website, www.dpivision.com, has been listed in the top 22 most inspiring website navigation ideas.

http://www.wbdesignideas.com/2008/12/10/22-most-inspiring-website-navigation-ideas/

After searching the internet, Wbdesignideas, stumbled across ours and has listed it as one of its favourites.

Described as breath-taking, unique and artistic.

Commenting on their quest, Wbdesignideas said: “Ahh, the beautiful navigation…

“Apart from being one of the most important technical elements of a website, website navigation can also be beautiful, pleasant to look at, sometimes even breathtaking.

“I dug through a lot of websites and picked out these 22 navigation designs that I find to be the most inspiring, whether is will be for the artistic expression, uniqueness or just a good idea.

“There are more brewing for later but here are the 22 that I have ready to drool over.”

Our logo also made it onto a recommended list of logos to inspire designers before getting stuck into a project.

Dpivision.com features in top design guide

Our creative website impressed top designer Patrick O’Neil so much it now features in his latest book. The Web Designer\'s Idea Book

Patrick has spent the last few years scouring the internet’s abundance of websites in a bid to hunt out some of the best and inspiring designs out there.

After cataloguing more than 5,000 sites on his website Design Meltdown, he decided to showcase the cream of the crop in a book for other designers to take inspiration from.

And our workplace theme and carefully crafted design to make www.dpivision.com replicate a notice board scooped us a space in The Web Designer’s Idea Book.

Patrick said: “I like to think of this book as a snap shot in time. It captures the web as it exists in 2008, showcasing the very best we have to offer at this time.”

You can get your hands on a copy of The Web Designer’s Idea Book by visiting amazon.co.uk for £11.99.
